Source: The Santa Fe New MexicanSept.存倉 05--Apparently some thieves are narcissists. And not very farsighted either. Twice within the last two months, people reported to police cases of men who could not resist taking pictures of themselves using the electronic devices they stole. In the most recent case, a thief used a stolen iPad and made a self-portrait of himself wearing a green hat. The victim found the photo when he checked his iCloud account.iCloud is an Apple online storage service that syncs photos, songs and other digital files across all of a person's electronic devices. The victim in this case reported that an iPod Touch, a laptop and three external hard drives were also stolen from a residence on the 2200 迷你倉lock of Via Manzana. In an earlier case, a man reported that his iPhone was stolen at a gas station on Airport Road. When he later checked his iCloud he found pictures of a shirtless man he didn't recognize. Both victims supplied the photos to police, according to Celina Westervelt, a spokeswoman with the Santa Fe Police Department.Westervelt said the department hopes the public can identify the men in the pictures. Anyone with information on these cases is asked to call police dispatch at 428-3710 or Crime Stoppers at 505-955-5050.Copyright: ___ (c)2013 The Santa Fe New Mexican (Santa Fe, N.M.)
