Source: St.迷你倉出租 Louis Post-DispatchSept. 08--Sunday is the biggest and most ambitious edition of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch each week. And this Sunday's edition is even more chock full of expanded coverage. For St. Louis area residents, such local coverage in print and online is indispensable and unmatched by other media. Post-Dispatch journalists are devoted to reporting on topics that help to define life in our communities.Sunday's edition includes the Rams football preview section; the ever-popular Fall Arts preview of everything in store on our arts and entertainment scene; a special section on local first responders and citizens who acted heroically; and our continuing print and online coverage of this weekend's LouFest, a mega-concert in Forest Park. Those topics vary widely, but they share one trait: if you care about these diverse local subjects, you must read the Post-Dispatch and STLtoday.com to be fully informed.RAMS PREVIEWUnder second-year coach Jeff Fisher, the Rams have emerged from an NFL upstart to competitive franchise playing in one of the toughest divisions in pro football. They open the regular season Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals in the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams made strides last year with the youngest roster in the league. It looks as though they'll enter 2013 once again fielding the youngest team in the league. Some highlights in the 24-page Rams special section:--Columnists Joe Strauss and Bryan Burwell square off on the performance of quarterback Sam Bradford. How has he done in his first three years and what does the future hold? Can Bradford become elite?--Are Daryl Richardson and the other young Rams running backs up to replacing Steven Jackson?--Rams beat writer Jim Thomas breaks down a formidable schedule. The section includes capsules on all 32 teams. The Post-Dispatch also offers Rams die-hards special online coverage each week on STLtoday.com. Jeff Gordon chats live with readers during every game. The A&E critics and reporters rounded up 20 of their favorite upcoming events, including big shows from Justin Timberlake and Pink, the unique production of Shakespeare in the Streets in the Grove and a concert from classical music star Yo-Yo Ma.The 16-page section includes schedules with more than 200 things to do. Readers often save this guide to help them plan for the upcoming months. The combined content and venue advertisements make it a hallmark annual section.LOUFESTAlso this weekend, pop music critic Kevin C. Johnson and a team of Post-Dispatch journalists will keep fans up to date on the latest happenings at the two-day LouFest, which lasts through Sunday in Forest Park. Friday coverage included the GO! Magazine cover story and many concert details. The team produced a special website area on STLtoday.com/loufest, which includes information such as maps, schedules and profiles of the bands. Throughout the weekend, up-to-date videos, band interviews, photos and Twitter comments will be posted about the 30 bands performing on three stages. The Post-Dispatch will be very visible with its GO! Magazine tent, which includes a phone-charging station and a photo area featuring our Weatherbird mascot. Photos will be posted on the website and Instagram. We even have free temporary Weatherbird tattoos for concertgoers.SALUTE TO OUR HEROES SECTIONThe Metro Desk staff gathered profiles of local first responders and citizens who committed acts of bravery and selfless sacrifice in the Salute to Our Heroes section, which is timed near the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The 32-page section is included for home-delivery subscribers and can be purchased at select area QuikTrip convenience stores. The section posed a daunting challenge for how to find and select the local heroes to be profiled. For help, the Post-Dispatch turned to local organizations that honor bravery of first-responders or citizens. We were unable to include countless heroic actions. But it was heartening to the newsroom that our community's heroes are an impressively large and diverse group.Copyright: ___ (c)2013 the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Visit the St. Louis Post-Dispatch at .stltoday.com Distributed by MCT Information Services儲存倉
